Knights, Chiefs rout foes by On Point

Letran reasserted its mastery over Emilio Aguinaldo College with a 92-66 rout in the 85th NCAA ┬áMen’s basketball competition at the Arena in San Juan.

The Knights demolished their foe on both ends of the floor led by veteran RJ Jazul who played unselfish basketball with 21 points, five boards and nine dimes.

The win improved their card to 6-4, to share the fourth spot with the Chiefs, who won against the Blazers in the second game, 82-72.

Gio Ciriacruz showed why he is the Chiefs leader with a monstrous double-double of 31 points and 16 boards.

The Generals and the Blazers meanwhile, dropped to 2-9 and 4-6 respectively.

Another day at the office.

San Sebastian hiked its winning streak to nine games with a hard-fought 77-74 victory over Letran in the last first round tiff of the 85th Season of the NCAA in the Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Ronald Pascual topscored with 17 points for the 9-0 Stags.

The Knights descended at 5-4 and now share the fourth spot with the Chiefs, who won their last first round assignment at the expense of the Cardinals in the first game.
